About
Welcome to Love Guitars,
I have been working with wood for over twenty years. I have strived for quality from the beginning all those years ago. I fell in love with guitars and music from an early age and was always curious how they were made.
I was fortunate enough to have had a great Luthier teach me traditional methods of practice which has enabled me to put my love of music together with my passion for craftsmanship.
Each guitar I make is unique and has an individual sound.
Materials
I have been very lucky to find the suppliers I use.
The passion, understanding, knowledge, and care these people have about timber is incredible.
This alone spurs me on to get the best I can do with traditional methods of construction. I mainly and preferably use all Australian tone woods for a few simple reasons, I truly believe its tonal qualities and stunning features are among the best in the world even if they are a relatively new source in the history of the guitar.
The 3 finishes I use for the body and neck range from Danish oil, Traditional French Polish or Spray finish.
Fretboard. Lemon or Orange oil.
